What Happens In Vegas!

Well here I am! Back into reality. The kids have started fighting again, and we have just been through another local show (CP is the President this year), so things are well and truly back to normal. I am still trying to get my head back into the blogosphere, and bear with me... I WILL finish my story soon. In the meantime, I thought I would share some pics from our amazing trip to the USA. As we were there for my brother's wedding, it's very much a case of 'what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas', but here are a few snaps of some of my highlights! (Mostly care of Instagram!)

Anyone else had a fantastic holiday recently?

  1. Ah, you had the same holiday we had a few years ago, except we didn't do Hawaii. We had 4 weeks in the usa. We loved San Fran, but hated the begging on the street, is it still there? It wAs our second time in Vegas and we made sure to get to a show every night. Did you take the kiddos to Disneyland? Alcatraz completely freaked my youngest, then 6 out! We did do the night time tour! So no wonder!
Our local show starts tomorrow! Kids are doing Whipcracking displays and demos. So much preparation here. Hubby has been there done that as the president!

    1. Hey Jodie! We left the kiddies behind this time! They stayed with hubby's parents - but next time we take them we'll do Disneyland etc. The begging in San Fran was only bad near Market St. Everywhere else was fine. Have fun with your show! x

  2. Oohh, you're making me so jealous! We've got a trip planned for next year with our daughter and her school - San Francisco, up through Montana, then into Canada for Calgary Stampede, Lake Louise, Banff etc. And as it's our 25th wedding anniversary while we're overseas, I'm thinking a stopover in Hawaii on the way home may be called for! Love all the pics too.

  3. We just got back from over your way (well, sort of... :) - from SW WA to Mission Beach in FNQ. Whew, that was a long way to go and still be in the same country! We had a ball and even the rain stayed away the week were there. Lovely spot - gorgeous rainforest and every shade of green imaginable. Back to dry old crop stubbles now, waiting for the rain! Some lovely US snaps, I love the one looking up inside Alcatraz. Thanks for the great read, Sarah

  4. THANK YOU so much for sharing those photos. It brought back so many memories of our holiday in the USA in 1996 when my husband played in the softball world series. San Fran, Alcatraz, Las Vegas, the redwoods, Lombard St - he drove down it and then we had to go around so that i could drive down it as well !!!! So many happy memories - thank you again !

    Have a great Friday !
